CABR Technology Co.,Ltd. (“the Company” for short), was restructured from the Institute of Building Structures, China Academy of Building Research (CABR), which was founded in 1953, is one of the earliest institutes in CABR and a high-tech structure company, with CABR holding controlling stake. For more than half a century, it has been dedicating to seeking and offering the leading-edge solutions for the technical issues relating to building structures.
Assigned by the Nation, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Science, the Company also takes on plenty of key research exploitation programs. With joint and untiring efforts by generations of scientific researchers, 467 research projects, 58 copies of standards and codes have been completed well. So far, the Company has won 25 issues of National Natural Science Award, National Invention Award, National Science & Technology Advancement Award, etc. Furthermore, the Company also won 114 provincal (ministrial) awards and 42 patents are owned by it. The Company occupies a leading position in the field of building structures in China. A great deal of excellent specialists, plentiful scientific research fruits and abundant construction practices have established the stable foundations(have paved a stable road ) for the Company’s future developments.
The Company is mainly involved in the business of building software development and R&D of new technologies and products. The Company owns the domestic advanced technologies and products in the fields such as building design and construction CAD software, high-rise building structure, prestressing, large-span space structure, steel structure, rebar mechanical splicing, structure testing, structural diagnosis and evaluation ,etc. The Company continues to be responsible for editing the national standards and codes in the relevant fields. The Company also owns the complete set of equipment and facilities for structural experiment and testing. At present, At present, the Company has a total staff of 597, among which there are 61 professors, 65 senior engineers, 19 with doctor and postdoctoral degrees, 133 with master degrees.
